Our Peppers make meals Moorelicious!

The official listing of a pepper’s pungency (heat/spiciness) is listed on the Scoville Scale in Scoville units. As you may have noticed we rank the heat of our peppers by weight classes (based on heat tolerance not weight) instead of referencing Scoville units. Usually when referencing a pepper on the Scoville Scale to find how spicy the pepper is, you will see a reference like “x” pepper is “y” times hotter than a jalapeño. We use a weight class ranking system simply to take the math out of the decision of can my taste buds handle the heat of this pepper I am looking at or will I be breathing fire for the next hour.
We currently have four weight classes (listed from mild to super hot):
1. Bantamweight
2. Lightweight
3. Middleweight
4. Heavyweight
